Branches of companies headquartered in Turkey are registered to the trade registry of the place where they are located by referring to the commercial records of the head office. In this context, it will be sufficient to complete the branch establishment documents and apply to the trade registry directorate for registration.
Establishing a Branch Office in Turkey by Companies Headquartered in a Foreign Country
The branches in Turkey of commercial enterprises having their headquarters outside Turkey shall be registered as domestic commercial enterprises, without prejudice to the provisions of the laws of their respective countries regarding trade names. For these branches, a fully authorised commercial representative resident in Turkey shall be appointed. If the commercial enterprise has more than one branch, the branches to be opened after the registration of the first branch shall be registered like the branches of domestic commercial enterprises.
